1. Adventures in Paradise

A television show that ran on ABC from 1959 to 1962.

The show was about a Korean War veteran named Adam Troy, who sailed around the Pacific in his freelance schooner, the Tiki.

Troy and the various crew members of the Tiki found adventure throughout the South Pacific, as ship sailed to various locations such as Pitcarin Island and Hong Kong.

The program premiered on ABC on October 5, 1959, and ran for 91 episodes. The show was originally created by James Michener, but he backed out once the show was approved by studio executives.
